Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption /desortion is waived since according to Annex 9.3 Column 2 screening for adsorption is not necessary if the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly. The test item proofed to be readily biodegradable in an OECD 301 B test.

Adsorption /desortion is waived since according to Annex 9.3 Column 2 screening for adsorption is not necessary if the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly. The test item proofed to be readily biodegradable in an OECD 301 B test.

Furthermore, due to a log KOW between -4 and -3.3, there is no potential for adsorption expected and therefore adsoprtion is waived (according to REACH regulation No. 1907/2006 Annex 8, chap.9.3.1)

Nevertheless, for derivation of PNEC soil and PNEC sediment based on EPM method the overall log KOC was modelled based on the individual value for the substructures using an input log KOW value of -3.3.

The overall log KOC is -1.60 which is also used for the risk assessment.
