First-aid measures

General Advice: Immediate medical attention is required
If inhaled: Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours. Consult a physician
In case of skin contact: If skin irritation persists, call a physician. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
In case of eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
If swallowed: Do NOT induce vomiting. Keep respiratory tract clear. Call a physician immediately.

Symptoms: No information available
Risks: Risk of product entering the lungs on vomiting after ingestion
Treatment: No information available

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, dry chemical. Keep containers and surroundings cool with water spray.
Special hazards during firefighting: In case of fire, hazardous decomposition products may be produced (e.g.carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide).
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit
Further information: In the event of fire and/or explosion, do not breathe fumes. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Standard procedure for chemical fires.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.
Special precautions: Treat recovered material as described in the Section 'Disposal Considerations'

Environmental precuations. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains, inform respective authorities. Do not allow to enter drains (danger of explosion). Avoid subsoil penetration. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods for cleaning up: Certain spillage, soak up with non combustible absorbent material (e.g. sand, earth, siatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and transfer to a container for disposal according to local / national regulations (see section 13). After cleaning, flush away traces with water.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling: Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe vapours or spray mist. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Normal measures for preventitive fire protection. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Requirements for storage areas: No special storage conditions necessary. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Storage Class (TRGS 510): 3: Flammable Liquids
Container Materials: Suitable Materials: Stainless Steel

Exposure controls / personal protection

NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS: No data available
EUROPEAN OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS: No data available

ENGINEERING MEASURES: Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.

PPE Respiratory protection: Breathing apparatus with filter
PPE Hand protection: The choice of an appropriate glove does not only depend on its material but also on other quality features and is different from one producer to the other. Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time., Be aware that in daily use the durability of a chemical resistant protective glove can be notably shorter than the break through time measured according to EN 374, due to the numerous outside influences (e.g. temperature).
Gloves suitable for permanent contact:
Material: Fluorinated rubber Break through time: >= 480 min Material thickness: 0.4 mm
Material: Nitrile rubber/nitrile latex Break through time: >= 480 min Material thickness: 0.35 mm
Unsuitable gloves
Material: Natural rubber/natural latex, Polychloroprene, butyl-rubber

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: Stable under recommended storage conditions
Chemical Stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions
Possibility of Hazardous Reactions: Stable under normal conditions
Conditions to Avoid: Heat, Flames and Sparks
Incompatible Materials to Avoid: Strong Oxidising Agents
Hazardous Thermal Dcomposition Products: Thermal sensitivity, heating can release hazardous gases. Decomposes on heating

Disposal considerations

Disposal: Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations
Waste Code: A waste code in accordance with the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) may not be assigned to this product since it admits of a classification only when the consumer uses it for some purpose. The waste code must be determined in agreement with the regional waste disposal authority or company.
