Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Use of a QSAR to predict the vapor pressure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Annex VII of REACH states that " The study does not need to be conducted if the melting point is above 300 °C. If the melting point is between 200°C and 300°C, a limit value based on measurement or a recognised calculation method is sufficient". Even though the test item has no melting point and no boiling point because it decomposes before, a value modelized by a well known QSAR model has been provided here.

Vapour pressure at 25 °C of 1.13 x 10-14Pa

(according to Grain modified) for Basid Red 1 monohydrochloride. The expected vapour pressure of the ionic salt Sepisol Fast Red SN should be therefore even lower at 25 °C (below 1.15 · 10 -10 Pa) and well below the lowest experimentaly measurable value.
