Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Boiling point
Boiling pt.:
192.9 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
> 122 °C
Remarks on result:
other: extrapolated onset temperature

Any other information on results incl. tables

The mass loss appears in two stages of approx. 6 % at a peak maximum temperature of 122 °C and 93 % at a peak maximium temperature of 233 °C was detected by using thermogravimetric method (TGA). the residue of < 1 % forms a glossy black coating in the curcible. The mass loss is no indication for a typical boiling behaviour of a pure substance.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
