First-aid measures

- Inhalation: Remove the exposed individual to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult give oxygenor practice artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.- Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash with large amounts of water and soap. Continue for at least 15minutes. Seek medical attention.- Eyes contact: Wash immediately with clean and gently flowing water. Continue for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushingof the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers. Seek medical attention.- Ingestion: Wash out the mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry powder, water spray or foam extinguishersMay produce toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides on combustion, cyanideWear protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure demand. Cool exposed containersExtinguish flames at a safe distance from the containers, by using fire hoses or extinguishers automatic systems with nozzles positioned atthe top of the containers.Remove the containers from the fire area or keep containers cool. Damaged containers must be handled only by authorized trainedpersonnel.

Accidental release measures

For non-emergency personnel:Evacuate from affected area the personnel not involved in emergency intervention. Alert internal emergency personnel or fire-fighters.If immediate action is necessary refer to the instructions / directions for emergency personnel. For emergency responders:Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment consistent with the degree of hazard.Stop leakage and eliminate all sources of ignition.

Handling and storage

Do not breathe dust. Wash thoroughly after use. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.Avoid dust formation and the dispersion into the environment. Use local exhaust ventilation for operations with potential to generate airbornedust. Do not expose to heat sources. Eliminate all ignition sources. Technical measures to avoid the formation and accumulation ofelectrostatic charges are recommended. Ground and bound the equipment. Work as much as possible with proper explosion relief(inertization system) to avoid the formation of potentially explosive atmospheres.

Protective personal equipments have to be adapted to the riskassessment and European standards.- Individual hygiene: Provide adequate ventilation in work place relating to the operation. After handling, remove carefully personalprotective equipment and wash with plenty of water before storing or destruction for disposable overall.
