Additional information

The density of test item was determined following guideline OECD 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids) with pycnometer using the displacement method. The test was run in triplicate at 20±0.1°C.

The density of the vehicle (n-hexane) was determined. Approx. 3 g of the test material was placed into the pycnometers, filled up with vehicle and kept for 30 min in the refrigerated circulator at 20°C. The filled pycnometers were weighed and the density of MBB was calculated.

The density of MBB was determined to be 1.2028 g/cm3 corresponding to 1202.8 kg/m3.

The relative density of test item is 1.2028.
