Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention if necessary.
- Skin contact: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water.
- Inhalation: Asymptomatic therapy. Artificial respiration if necessary.
- Ingestion: Asymptomatic therapy.
Fire-fighting measures
- Specific fire fighting procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
- Extinguishing media: Water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide.
- Unusual fire or explosion hazards: This material, like most organic materials in powder form is capable of creating a dust explosion.
- Hazardous combustion products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and respiratory protection.
- Environmental precautions: if substance has entered a watercourse or sewer or contaminated soil or vegetation, advise authorities.
- Methods for cleaning up: Thoroughly collect the material, wash the area with water and detergent, collect the washing solution and dispose of properly.
Handling and storage
- Handling: The chemical should be handled only by personnel who have been trained and are wearing the appropriate PPE.
- Storage: The chemical should be stored in its original container and be sealed to prevent external contamination. The chemical should be stored in a dark location, away from strong bases and acids.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Please see document attached in section 13 for details on engineering controls for intermediate strictly controlled conditions.
- Engineering measure to reduce exposure: The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control airborne levels.
- Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment.
- Hand protection: wear chemical resistant gloves.
- Eye protection: use goggles giving complete protection to eyes.
- Skin and body protection: wear rubber or plastic boots, chemical resistant apron/complete suit protecting against chemicals.
Stability and reactivity
- Stability: stable under normal ambient conditions.
- Conditions to avoid: high temperature, light.
- Chemical incompatibilities: oxidising reagents, reducing reagents, bases, acids.
- Hazardous combustion products: As with any other organic material, combustion will produce carbon dioxide and probably carbon monoxide.
Disposal considerations
- Waste from residues/unused products: can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations. Contact waste disposal services.
- Contaminated packaging: empty containers may be incinerated, or recylced, or landfilled after cleaning, when in compliance with local regulations.
