Justification for classification or non-classification

The studies were assigned a reliability of 1 and followed acceptable OECD, EU or recognized standards and was in accordance with GLP.

The test material produced a primary irritation index of 0.0 and was classified as a non-irritant to rabbit skin according to the Draize classification scheme. No corrosive effects were noted. The test material did not meet the classification as irritant or corrosive according to the EU labelling regulations.

The test material produced a maximum group mean score of 10.0 and was classified as a mild irritant (Class 4 on a 1 to 8 scale) to the rabbit eye according to a modified Kay and Calandra classification system.
