Description of key information

The determination of the boiling point was performed in triplicate, heating quickly up to 90 °C and afterwards slowly using a heating rate of 1 °C/min.
A clear boiling point, as defined in the guideline was observed at a heating temperature of 105°C. The boiling temperature was that temperature at which, on momentary cooling, the formation of bubbles stopped and the liquid suddenly rose in the capillary.
In conclusion, the test item starts boiling at 106°C corrected to a barometric pressure of 101.325 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
106 °C
