The mean pressure rise time for the test item(1.3 s) is less than the mean pressure rise time for the reference item sodium chlorate solution 40 % (2.4 s), greater than the mean pressure rise time for the reference item perchloric acid 50 % (0.2 s) and less than the mean pressure rise time for the reference itemnitric acid 65 % (5.1 s).
The test item has oxidizing properties according to the Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods – Manual of Tests and Criteria UN-Test O.2. (Oxidizing Properties (Liquids)) andhas to be classified as oxidizing liquid in Division 5.1 (Packing Group II).
