First-aid measures

Remove contaminated clothing . Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Apply PEG/EtOH solution liberally to affected area. Allow to remain 15-30 seconds thenwash with water. Continue cycle of water-PEG/EtOH solution for at least 15 mins. (PEG/EtOH solution consists of 2 parts polyethylene glycol 400 to 1 part ethanol. For external use only). Finish decontamination with thorough washing using soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation or symptoms persist.
Eye contact: Causes severe inflamation and may damage the cornea. Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes holding the eyelids open. Contact lenses should be removed. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapours may cause shortness of breath. Move the exposed person to fresh air. If breathing stops provide artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Ingestion causes burns to the respiratory tract. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Drink 1 to 2 glasses of water. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water spray. Foam. Dry Chemical. Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Fire Hazards: Corrosive. Burning produces irritating, toxic and obnoxious fumes.
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation of the working area. Evacuate personnel to a safe area. Wear suitable protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow product to enter drains. Prevent further spillage if safe.
Clean up methods: Absorb with inert, absorbent material. Transfer to suitable, labelled containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation of the working area. Do not breathe dust or vapour.Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Adopt best manual handling considerations when handling, carrying and dispensing.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed and a well-ventilated place. Avoid spaks, flames, heat and sources of ignition.
