First-aid measures

General advice: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.

Dust inhalation: Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Keep under medical surveillance. In case of problems : Hospitalise.

Skin contact:
Wash immediately, abundantly and thoroughly with soap and water. Consult a doctor quickly. In case of extensive burns: Hospitalize immediately.

Eye contact: Remove particles remaining under the eyelids. Wash well-open eyes immediately, abundantly and thoroughly with water. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth and lips with plenty of water if the subject is conscious, then hospitalize.

Protection of first-aiders: Wear suitable respiratory equipment. Protective suit Gloves

Fire-fighting measures

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Thermal decomposition giving toxic and corrosive products : Hydrogen fluoride

Precautions for fire-fighters:
Specific methods: In case of fire, remove exposed containers.

Special protective actions for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Prohibit contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust. Evacuate unprotected peronnel into safe areas

Environmental precautions:
Do not release into the environment.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Recover the product. After cleaning, flush away traces with water. Recover water for later processing

Handling and storage

Technical measures/Precautions:
Storage and handling precautions applicable to products: Solid. Toxic. Corrosive. Sensitizing. Dangerous for the environment Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery and at places where dust can be generated. Provide showers, eye-baths.

Safe handling advice:
Avoid the formation and deposition of dust. Only use safety equipment.

Hygiene measures:
Prohibit contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of dust. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Wash hands after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store protected from moisture and heat.

- Incompatible products: Peroxides, Strong acids, Strong oxidizing agents

Packaging material:
Recommended: Metal drums with internal polyethylene coating, Cardboard lined with polyethylene liner
