Description of key information

No study on the substance is available, however, in vivo studies on the constituents of the reaction mass are available:


Calcium fluoride was found to be non-irritant in a modern proprietary guideline and GLP-compliant study (Prinsen, 2002) and was found to be a slight eye irritant in a modern proprietary guideline and GLP-compliant study (Prinsen, 2002). Calcium sulfate is not considered to be irritating to the skin or eyes. Calcium carbonate is not considered to be irritating to the skin or eyes. 


According to the results obtained on the 3 main constituents of the substance, reaction mass of calcium fluoride and calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate is not considered to be irritating to the skin or eyes.
