Results

Preliminary test

Atmospheric pressure                     About 99.0 kPa

Relative humidity                 About 27% of saturated air

Tested temperature range            Between 80.5 and 140.5 °C (corrected values)

No flash point was observed up to 140.5 °C (corrected value).

Remark: At 140.5 °C, only a blue halo was observed which is not considered as a flash point. Then, the test was performed at 150.5 °C (corrected value), but the test item solidified and the aluminium cup was damaged. The test was stopped.

The test was considered to be not applicable for this test item.

No main test was performed.

Conclusion

No flash point was observed up to 140.5 °C (corrected value).
