Executive summary:

A biodegradation test according to OECD Guideline 301 B was carried out with (Z)-2-(8-Heptadecenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole-1-ethanol. After 28 days a biodegradation of 8 % was determined. The substance is considered as not readily biodegradable.
