First-aid measures

If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If breathing becomes difficult give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration. Release of tight clothing such as belts, corsets and ties. Provide warmth and peace. Call a Poison center or a physician

If ingestion: Call a Poison center or a physician. Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

If in eyes: In case of contact with eyes, immediately rinse continuously with water for several minutes (for at least 20 minutes) keeping eyelids open. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do - continue rinsing. Do not allow water to flow to the healthy eye. Immediately call a Poison center or a physician.

If on skin: In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and plenty of water at least 20 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Immediately call a Poison center or a physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, sand, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or alcohol-resistant foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Direct and strong water jet can spread the substance and fire.

Special hazards arising from the substance: substance is not combustibe. During a fire, irritating and h ighly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion (CO).

Accidental release measures

Wear appropriate NIOSH/MSHA (USA), CEN (EU) or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator with an antidust filter, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots and heavy rubber glovesand working overall of rubber/dense cotton cloth. Avoid raising a dust. Do not walk through spilled substance. Isolate unauthorized and unnecessary personal.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Substance is handled and stored under Strictly Controlled Conditions.

Exposure controls

- Personal protective equipment:

- General protective and hygienic measures:

The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.

Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

- Respiratory protection:

In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer

exposure use self-contained respiratory protective device.

- Protection of hands:

Protective gloves

The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.

Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/the chemical mixture.

Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation

- Material of gloves

The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of

quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

- Penetration time of glove material

The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has

to be observed.

- Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles

- Body protection: Use protective suit.

Stability and reactivity

The substance is stable under recommended storage conditions.

Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat sources, sunlight, moisture and incompatible substances.

Incompatible materials: strong oxidizing agents and bases.

Hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of this product and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point.
