Description of key information

Single dose toxicity tests with the source substance demonstrate the low acute toxicity of the material. The data can be applied to the target substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The source substance was tested orally in mice and rats and dermally in rabbits. The LD50 values in mice and rats were >4000 mg/kg by the oral route. Acute administration of 1500 mg/kg to rabbits was not lethal.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According the classification criteria described in REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), the substance has not to be classified as acute hazardous.
