Any other information on results incl. tables

Assay No. 1 At the start of the test, the test item was constituted of white to beige pearls. At the contact of the burner’s flame, the test item melted and formed a colorless limpid liquid which turned to amber. Neither inflammation nor propagation was observed.

Assay No. 2 At the start of the test, the test item was constituted of white to beige pearls. At the contact of the burner’s flame, the test item melted and formed a colorless limpid liquid which turned to amber. After the withdrawal of the flame, the liquid ignited. The inflammation was observed during the 4-min test period and after, but no propagation was observed.

Taking into account the results obtained during the preliminary test, no main test was performed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information not considered as highly flammable
Conclusions:
The test item was not considered as highly flammable under our experimental conditions.
Executive summary:

FLAMMABILITY OF SOLIDS

In compliance with Commission Directive 92/69/EEC, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 EC A10 method (2008)

RESULTS

Preliminary test The preliminary test was performed twice.

Observations in assay No. 1

At the start of the test, the test item was constituted of white to beige pearls. At the contact of the burner’s flame, the test item melted and formed a colorless limpid liquid which became amber. Neither inflammation nor propagation was observed.

Observations in assay No. 2

At the start of the test, the test item was constituted of white to beige pearls. At the contact of the burner’s flame, the test item melted and formed a colorless limpid liquid which turned to amber. After the withdrawal of the flame, the liquid ignited. The inflammation was observed during the 4-min test period and after, but no propagation was observed.

Main test

Taking into account the results obtained during the preliminary test, no main test was performed.

The test item was not considered as highly flammable under our experimental conditions.
