First-aid measures
Inhalation: Transport the person into fresh air. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
Ingestion: Call a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 min. Seek medical advice from an ophthalmologist.
Skin contact: Clean with soap and rinse abundantly with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing or shoes and continue rinsing. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water mist, dry powder, foam, CO2.
Specific hazards: May release toxic and corrosive fumes during decomposition due to the fire (CO / CO2 / HI / I2).
Protection of fire fighters: Wear anti-acid protection clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Wear a mask, gloves and goggles.
Environmental Precautions: Do not disperse the dust.
Methods for cleaning up: Collect the product in tightly closed containers. Wash the floor with carbonated water.
Handling and storage
Handling
Suitable technical measures: Capture emissions of dust at their source by means of an exhaust system.
Use tightly closed containers for transfer.
Safety precautions: Store away from flames or heat sources.
Recommendations: Avoid inhaling dust and contact with the skin or the eyes.
Storage
Suitable technical measures: Store in a cool, well ventilated place, protected from humidity.
Recommended storage conditions: In tightly-closed containers.
Incompatible materials: No incompatibility observed to date under normal storage conditions.
Recommended packaging materials: Containers suitable for the storage of powders.
