Details on results:
Preliminary test - Preliminary testing indicated that on using a loading rate of 100 g trisodium 6,6',6"-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)trihexanoate per litre of glass double-distilled water, a sample concentration of 98.1 g test material per litre of solution was obtained. The pH of this solution was 7.5. As the loading rate and sample concentration numbers were very similar, extra method development work was then carried out; the results for this extra work suggested that the sample concentration was dependent on the loading rate.

Definitive test: The concentrations (g/l) of trisodium 6,6',6"-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)trihexanoate in the sample solution is shown in the table below.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): other: water solubility is loading rate dependent
No precise value for water solubility could be determined: results obatined from sample analyses showed a dependence on loading rate. This may suggest formation of colloidal solutions or micro-emulsions rather than true dissolution.
