Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Melting / freezing point
Decomposition:
yes
Decomp. temp.:
ca. 536 K
Sublimation:
no
Remarks on result:
other: Not possible to determine melting/freezing point

Any other information on results incl. tables

It was not possible to determine the melting/freezing point. The preliminary test indicated that the test material decomposed from approximately 542 K.

DSC testing revealed that thermograms obtained in air and nitrogen atmospheres indicated that decomposition in the main test was most likely due to thermal processes.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Trisodium (1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)trihexanoate has been determined to decompose from approximately 536 K.
