Description of key information

An OECD 202 study (Daphnia magna immobilisation test) has been carried out.  An EC50-48h = 60 mg/L was observed. Later on, a chronic toxicity on the same species with the same batch of test substance didn't register any effect on reproduction or survival up to 32 mg/L on a period of exposure of 21 days.

Additional information

Applying OECD 202 guideline, an EC50-48h = 60 mg/L has been obtained, that corresponds to "harmful" effects to Daphnia.

The lowest tested concentration of the short term study, 39 mg/L did not show immobilisation in 48 hours

Further to this test, a chronic toxicity test has been done to investigate potential effects on daphnia reproduction. Results are described in the relevant section. No effect was observed at the highest tested concentration, 32 mg/L, either on reproduction or on survival of parent daphnids, during the 21 days of the test.
