Additional information

The toxicity of the structurally related substance CAS 118800-30-9 to aquatic algae was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 201. In this study, an acute EC50 (96h) of 27 mg/L for the growth rate of Desmodesmus subspicatus as well as an EC10 (growth rate, 72h) value of 8.97 mg/L were determined (BASF AG 98/0634/60/1, 1998). These results are considered to be adaptable for the test substance due to the structural similarities and identical core-molecules of those substances. Based on these values the test substance is considered to be acutely harmful to aquatic algae.
