First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove exposed person to fresh air if adverse effects are
observed.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water at least 30 minutes. Get medical attention
if eye irritation develops or persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if
irritation develops. Launder contaminated clothing before
reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not inudce vomiting. If conscious, give 2 glasses of
water. Get immediate medical atention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: CO2 or dry chemical or foam.
Product arising from burning: Toxic fumes, gases or vapors may evolve on burning. Smoke,
carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, aldehydes and other
products of incomplete combustion are anticipated.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Recommend wearing self-contained breathing apparatus for any
firefighting that involves Z-75.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal protective equipment must be worn. Nitrile or
neoprene gloves are recommended. Ventilate area if spilled
in a confined space or other poorly ventilated areas.
Prevent entry into sewers and waterways. Pick up free
liquid for recycle or disposal. Residual liquid can be
absorbed on inert material.
Handling and storage
Handling: Keep containers closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly
after handling.
Storage: No special storage precautions are required.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The material is not regulated by ADR, RID, ADN, ICAO, IMDG,
or IATA. A UN 1A1 drum is recommended but not required.

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: If spilled, the material may be recycled or recovered.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Any hazardous effects cannot be eliminated by
neutralization, hydrolysis or other simple chemica1 means.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The material may be incinerated.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The public is not exposed to this material per se. It is
used in an automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or in gear
lubricants or hydraulic fluids. These fluids are generally
"factory fill for life". The ATF or gear lubricants are
never or very rarely changed during the life cycle of an
automobile.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: In a fully formulated automotive lubricant, any hazards from
the new chemical are greatly reduced by its dilution in the
base fluid, e.g., mineral oil. However, any automotive
lubricant should be handled carefully and with proper hand
and eye protection. Any hazardous effects cannot be
eliminated by neutralization, hydrolysis or other simple
chemica1 means.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The new chemical is used primarily in automotive lubricants.
All spent automotive lubricants should be disposed of
properly. (e.g., in "tips" at local collection sites.)
Controlled discharge is not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The new or spent automotive lubricant may be incinerated.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Automotive lubricants should not be disposed of in waterways
or water treatment plants. They should be sent for
recycling or for disposal at local collection sites.
