First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment. In

case of indisposition seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash thoroughly with water.

Emergency measure - Skin: Rince areas thoroughly with water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Obtain immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use an extinguishing medium appropriate to the surrounding

fire condition. Water, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide may

be used.

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Solids: Sweep up (wet powders with water) and place in

suitable containers for disposal.

Liquids: Absorb using an adequate absorbent (eg. Kieselgur,

sand, saw dust, Kieselgel), collect and place in suitable

containers for disposal.

Dispose of waste material in authorised incineration

facility. Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.

Handling and storage

Handling: Generally, protective apparel such as gloves or goggles is

not required. Observe the usual precautions for handling

chemicals. Wear personal protective equipment during

handling the substance. Avoid eye and skin contact. Ensure

adequate ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke in the

working area. Take precautionary measures against static

charges.

Storage: The substance should be stored in sealed containers in a

cool dry place secured from falling down. Keep container

closed when not in use.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 10 kg polyethylene bag in a carton box.
