Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. In case of indisposition, seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes. Consult a physician.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash off

immediately with soap and plenty of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Clean mouth with water. Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Foam, Dry powder.

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon; Oxides of nitrogen (NOx); Oxides of

sulfur; Hydrogen chloride; Other toxic gases and/or vapours

are also possible.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing. Wear self-contained breathing

apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions:

Do not inhale or ingest. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and

clothing. Remove all sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions:

Do not flush into surface water, sanitary sewer or ground

water system.

Methods for cleaning up:

Use mechanical handling equipment. Collect the spilled

product into suitable containers, which must be tightly

sealed and properly labelled. Avoid dust formation. Do not

wash indiscriminately down the drains. Use personal

protective equipment.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dust formation and ignition sources. Ensure good local

exhaust ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke at the

workplace. Take precautionary measures against static

discharges. Dust clouds from finely particulated pigments

may be hazardous (dust explosion risk).

Respiratory protection

Wear a respirator type FFP2 (EN 149:2001) or equivalent.

Hand protection

Chemical resistant protective gloves (EN 374).

Eye protection

Wear safety glasses with side protection to protect against

dust particles

Skin and body protection

Suitable protective clothing

Storage: Keep in a dry, cool place. Store in tightly sealed

containers.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 200 g in 0.5-litre PE boxes
