First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure. Obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the
eyelids apart, for at least 10 minutes. Obtain medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water. If
symptoms (irritation or blistering) occur obtain medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300ml (half a pint)
of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical
attention if ill effects occur.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective
clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Protect against dust. Ensure suitable personal protection
during removal of spillages. Clear up spillages. Transfer to
a container for disposal. Wash the spillage area with
water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Control dust formation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Avoid inhalation of high concentrations of dusts. Take
precautionary measures against static discharges.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Plastic drums containing typically 25 kg of FABA
