Based on the criteria as outlined in the EEC Guideline, 2-(2-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate is not a surface active substance.

The determination of the surface tension of an aqueous solution of 2-(2-Vinyloxyethoxy)ethyl acrylate was based on the OECD Guideline No. 115: “Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions“ (1995) and on the EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A.5 “Surface tension“.
