Description of key information

The ready biodegradability of the test item was determined using the method from OECD Guideline 301 D (Closed Bottle Test). After 28 days, the oxygen consumption for the test substance at a concentration of 5 mg/L equated to 91 % biodegradation. Because degradation was greater than 60 % within a 10 -day window, the substance was considered readily biodegradable under the test conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
