First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately. If

breathing is difficult, call a physician. If breathing has

stopped, perform artificial respiration. Keep person warm

and at rest. Treat symptomatically and supportively. get

mediacal attention immediately.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water or normal

saline, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no

evidence of chemical remains (approximately 15-20). Get

mediacl attention immediately.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash

affected area with soap or mild detergent and large amounts

of water until no evidence of chemical remains

(approximately 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention

immediately.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Treat symptomatically and supportively. Get mediacal

attention immediately. If vomiting occurs, keep head lower

than lips prevent aspiration.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray or regular foam.

Product arising from burning: COx, NxOy, HCl, FxOy

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus with full facepiece

operating in a pressure-demand or ather positive-pressure

mode.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear respirator, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots and

heavy rubber gloves. Sweep up and place in suitable clean,

dry containers for reclamation or later disposal. Avoid

raising dust. Do not flush spilled material into sewer.

Ventilate area and wash spill after material pickup is

complete. Keep unnecessary people away.

Handling: Employee must wear splash-proof or dust-resistant  safety

goggles to prevent eye contact with this substance.

Provide local exhaust ventilation. Ventilation equipment

should be explosion-proof if explosive concentrations of

dust, vapor or fume are present.

Any self-contained breathing apparatus is suitable.

Where there is  the possibility that an employee's eyes may

be exposed to this substance, the employer should provide an

eye wash fountain within the immediate work area for

emergency use.

Employee must wear appropriate (impervious) clothing, gloves

and equipment to prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact

with this substance.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: None known

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and

burn in achemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner

and scrubber.
