Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Mechanisch unter Vermeidung von Staubbildung aufnehmen
(z.B mit baumustergeprüften Industriestaubsauger) und in
verschließbaren Behältern der Entsorgung zuführen. Die mit
dem aufgenommenen Stoff gefüllten Behälter ausreichend
kennzeichnen (gemäß TRGS 201).
Zur Vermeidung von Haut- und Augenkontakt sowie des
Einatmens des Stoffes persönliche Schutzausrüstung (siehe
"Handhabung") tragen.

to disposal in sealable drums. Label the drums filled with
taken up material in accordance to the regulations.

Handling and storage
Handling: Alle Arbeitsverfahren sind grundsätzlich so zu gestalten,
dass die Belastung durch Einatmen des Stoffes und durch
Hautkontakt so gering wie möglich ist. Der Augenkontakt mit
dem Stoff sollte vermieden werden.
Bei Abfüll-, Umfüll- und Dosierarbeiten sowie bei
Probenahmen sind geschlossene Vorrichtungen zu verwenden.
Beim Umgang in offenen Systemen sind möglicher Staub bzw.
Dämpfe unmittelbar am Entstehungsort abzusaugen. Die
abgesaugte Luft darf nur nach ausreichender Reinigung mit
geprüften Geräten in den Arbeitsbereich zurückgeführt
werden.
Wenn technische Absaug- oder Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht möglich
oder unzureichend sind, d.h. die Luftgrenzwerte nach TRGS
900 für Dimethylformamid (10 mg/m³) und für Methanol (200
ml/m³) nicht eingehalten werden können, ist ein geeigneter
Atemschutz (z.B. Vollmaske mit Kombinationsfilter A2/P3) zu
tragen.
Auch wenn nur ein kurzzeitiger Hautkontakt möglich ist, sind
geprüfte Schutzhandschuhe (z.B. aus Neopren) und geeignete
Schutzkleidung (z.B. Einmalschutzanzug) zu tragen. Das
Tragen von Augenschutz (z.B. Schutzbrille mit Seitenschutz)
wird empfohlen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe des Arbeitsbereiches sollten
ausreichende Waschgelegenheiten zur Verfügung stehen. Nach
Hautkontakt sollten die betroffnen Körperstellen sofort
gründlich mit (:::) gereinigt werden. Besondere
Hautschutz- und Hautpflegemaßnahmen werden empfohlen.
Kontaminierte Kleidung ist sofort zu wechseln. Die
Straßenkleidung ist getrennt von der Arbeitskleidung
aufzubewahren.
Der Stoffvorrat am Arbeitsplatz ist auf die für den Fortgang
der Arbeiten notwendige Menge zu begrenzen. Behälter nach
Stoffentnahme immer dicht verschließen.
Die Zahl der in den betroffenen Arbeitsbereich jeweils
tätigen Arbeitnehmer ist so gering wie möglich zu halten.
Diese Bereiche sind zudem abzugrenzen und mit entsprechenden
Warn- und Sicherheitszeichen zu kennzeichnen.
Alle Räume, Anlagen und Geräte sind regelmäßig zu reinigen.
Bei möglicher Staubentwicklung sollten wegen der
potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr potentielle Zündquellen
aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten
Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen
werden.

All working methods have basically to be formed in a way,
that inhalation and skin contact is impossible. Contact with
the eyes should be avoided. When filling, metering and
transferring as well as sampling closed design must be used.
If processing takes place in open systems dust or vapours
must be taken up directly at the place of origin. The
extracted air should be returned to the working area only
after sufficient cleaning with tested equipment. In case of
insufficient extraction and inhalation equipment
(occupational exposure limit according TRGS 900 for DMF (10
mg/m3) and for methanol (200 ml/m3)) the wearing of a
respiratory protection is recommended (e.g. full face mask
with combination filter A2/P3). Even if only a short skin
contact is possible the wearing of tested protective gloves
(e.g. neoprene) and suitable protective clothing is
recommended. Eye protection (e.g. tightly fitting goggles)
is necessary.
Near to working places sufficient washing possibilities
should be provided. After skin contact clean the affected
body areas thoroughly with .....Special skin protection and
care measures were recommended. Take off immediately all
contaminated clothing. Keep normal clothing away from
working clothing.
Store only necessary amounts of the substance near to the
working place. Keep drums tightly closed after use. Only the
necessary number of workers should be present. Draw a clear
dividing line between the different areas and label them
with corresponding warning and safety signs.
Due to possibility to cause dust explosion in case of dust
formation keep potential ignition sources away from the
working area. Take measures against static discharges.
Storage: Die Lagerung sollte in Originalgebinden oder anderen
bruchsicheren und vorschriftsmäßig gekennzeichneten
Behältern erfolgen.
Behälter dicht geschlossen an einem kühlen gut gelüfteten
Ort lagern. Substanzreste auf den Gebinden vermeiden.
Behälter gegen Herabfallen sichern.
Die TRGS 514 ist zu beachten.
