First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: With any sign of respiratory distress, affected persons
should be taken into fresh air, and made to rest while
medical attention is sought.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes
and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediatly wash affected area with warm, soapy water then
clean the skin with resin removing cream, followed by
further washing with warm soapy water. Do not use solvents.
If irritation persists,seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use either carbon dioxide, dry powder, foam, or water spray
mist extinguisher. Do NOT use water jets as these may spread
the fire base. In a serious fire, wear self-contained
breathing apparatus.

Product arising from burning: Combustion may release oxides of carbon and nitrogen.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Carefully sweep spillage into a container with a secure lid.
Avoid inhalation of dust. Dispose of as special waste to
landfill. Prevent spillage entering the drainage systems.

Handling and storage

Handling: Aviod direct contact with product.Use gloves to protect skin
(nitrile gloves are suitable). Use only in a fume cupboard
or under good local extract, wear saftey goggles or
facemask.

Storage: The substance is packaged in fibre/poly lined kegs. Store
containers, securely closed according to container label
instructions.

Store away from food and foodstuffs.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The material is currently stored at room temerature. DCA 30
is packaged in fibre/poly lined kegs.
