Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschüttetes Pulver mechanisch, z.B. auch durch einen

zugelassenen Industriestaubsauger aufnehmen und in

ordnungsgemäß gekennzeichnete Abfallbehälter einsammeln.

Reste feucht aufnehmen und ebenfalls in gekennzeichnete

Behälter sammeln. Dabei ist das Einatmen von Stäuben bzw.

Haut- und Augenkontakt mit dem Pulver zu vermeiden.

Personen, die entsprechende Reinigungsarbeit vornehmen,

sind gehalten, die unter "Handhabung" erwähnten

Schutzmaßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Entsorgung der Abfallbehälter entsprechend den örtlichen

behördlichen Vorschriften, z.B. durch kontrollierte

Verbrennung.

Handling and storage

Handling: Der pulverförmige Stoff, der in Wasser und Fett praktisch

nicht löslich ist, kann nach inhalativer Aufnahme zu

sogenannten "Overload"-Phänomenen führen; daher sind alle

Arbeitsverfahren grundsätzlich so zu gestalten, dass die

Belastung durch Einatmen des Stoffes so gering wie möglich

ist. Der Haut- und Augenkontakt mit dem Stoff sollte

vermieden werden.

Bei Umfüll- und Dosierarbeiten sowie beim Mischen sollten

nach Möglichkeit geschlossene bzw. zumindest staubdichte

Vorrichtungen verwendet werden.

Beim Umgang mit dem Stoff in offenen Systemen sollte

möglicher Staub unmittelbar am Entstehungsort abgesaugt

werden. Wenn technische Absaug- oder Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht

möglich oder unzureichend sind, sollte Atemschutz getragen

werden. Zur Vermeidung von Hautkontakt wird das Tragen von

geprüften Schutzhandschuhen und ggf. geeigneter

Schutzkleidung empfohlen sowie zur Vermeidung von

Augenkontakt das Tragen von Augenschutz.

Wegen der potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr sollten bei

möglicher Staubentwicklung potentielle Zündquellen aus dem

Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten

Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen

werden.

The powdery substance being nearly insoluble in water and

fat could lead to the so called "overlead phenomena" after

inhalative intake; therefore design all working process

basically in that way that the inhalative exposure is as low

as possible. Avoid skin and eye contact.

Use closed or at least dust proof equipment for filling,

During handling the substance in open systems exhaust

possible dust directly at the origin point. If technical

ventilation or exhaustion measure are not possible or

insufficient wear respiration protection. In order to avoid

skin contact weargloves and if necessary suitable protective

clothing. In order to avoid eye contact wear eye protection.

Due to the possible dust explosion hazard remove all

possible ignition sources if dust could formate. Further

take measures against static discharges.

Storage: Das Produkt ist trocken, bei Raumtemperatur in dicht

geschlossenen Behältern zu lagern.

Lagerräume sind nach den Grundsätzen einer guten

Betriebshygiene zu unterhalten. Alle angebrochenen Gebinde

sind nach Gebrauch wieder dicht zu schließen. Produktreste

entfernen.

Filtrations- und Sedimentationsprozesse ggf. abgetrennt

werden. Wegen seiner hohen Lipophilie ist von einem hohen

Sorptionspotential auszugehen, so dass die im Wasser ggf.

vorhandenen geringen Mengen beim Eintritt in die Kläranlage

überwiegend abgetrennt werden. Eine zusätzliche spezielle

Abwasserbehandlung erscheint daher trotz der nicht leichten

biologischen Abbaubarkeit des Stoffes nicht erforderlich.

papers) the substance enters the waster water only in very

low amounts due to its low solubility (< 0.05 mg/l) and

could be separated from it by filtration and sedimentation

processes. Due its high lipophily a high sorption potential

contained in the water will be separated during entering the

waste water treatment plant. An additional special treatment
