Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: This material is consumed within a synthetic process and

cannot therefore be recycled. Recycling of spills is

precluded by regulations covering the manufacture of drug

substances.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: This is considered to be the preferred method for

destruction of material from significant spills.

Incineration may only take place in equipment licensed for

destruction of such a material. Waste gas scrubbing to

remove oxides of nitrogen should be fitted.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable, the substance will not enter the public

domain.
