First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of water, if
irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, dry powder and carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
together with hydrogen chloride and soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective
clothing should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1.
Sweep up spillages and transfer to a labelled container for
disposal in accordance with national legislation. Wash
spillage area with water and detergent.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions when handling organic
chemicals. Do not breathe dust, and avoid contact with eyes
and skin.
Ensure adequate ventilation and use extraction methods.
Protective clothing, gloves and goggles should be worn.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 200 kg steel drums with plastic liners.
