First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: IF INHALED: Remove individual to fresh air.

Emergency measure - Eyes: IF IN EYES: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes. Call a physician if irritation develops.

Emergency measure - Skin: IF ON SKIN: Flush skin with water for 15 minutes.  Call a

physician if irritation develops.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: IF SWALLOWED: Immediately drink water to dilute.  Consult a

physician if symptoms develop. Never give anything by mouth

to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use carbon dioxide, dry chemical or water spray.

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, Oxides of nitrogen.

Protective equipment: In case of fire, use normal fire fighting equipment

including an approved self-contained breathing apparatus

(SCBA). Use water to cool containers.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal Protection for Emergency  Situations: No extra

protection required beyond that listed in Section 2.3.00.

In case of fire, use normal fire fighting equipment.

Spill Mitigation Procedures:

- Air Release: The very fine particles can cause a fire or

explosion, eliminate all ignition sources. Dusting may be

suppressed by the use of local ventilation.

- Water Release: Notify all downstream users of possible

contamination. Divert water flow around spill if possible

and safe to do so. If unable to divert, create a filtration

dam to remove material.

- Land Release: Do not place spill materials back in their

original containers.  Vacuum or sweep up material and place

in a disposal container. Decontaminate all clothing and the

spill area using a detergent and flush with large amounts of

water. Contain all contaminated water for disposal and/or

treatment.

- Additional Spill Information: Stop source of spill as

soon as possible and notify appropriate personnel. Utilize

emergency response personal protection equipment prior to

the start of any response. Evacuate all non-essential

personnel.

Waste Disposal Summary: Spent or discarded material is not

expected to be a hazardous waste.

Disposal Methods: Dispose of in a permitted industrial

wastelandfill following National and EU laws, directives and

regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: - Stable under normal conditions.

- Conditions to Avoid: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or

ultraviolet (UV) light sources. Sparks, open flame, other

ignition sources, and elevated temperatures.

- Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and

clothing.  Upon contact with skin or eyes, wash off with

water. Avoid breathing (dust, vapor, mist, gas). May form

flammable dust-air mixtures. Minimize dust generation and

accumulation.

- Ventilation: Local exhaust ventilation is recommended if

significant dusting occurs. Otherwise use general exhaust

ventilation.

- Protective Equipment for Routine Use of Product:

* Respiratory Protection: Respiratory protection not

normally needed.

* Respirator Type(s): An approved air purifying respirator

with dust/mist filter (P1, EN 143). Air purifying

respirators should not be used in oxygen deficient or IDLH

atmospheres or if exposure concentrations exceed ten (10)

times the published limit.

* Skin: Not normally required.

* Eyes: Use safety glasses with side shields (EN166).

* Protective Clothing Type: Impervious.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Isolate from

incompatible materials. Do not expose to direct light.

Incompatible Materials for Storage: strong oxidizing agents.

Do Not Store at temperatures Above: 25 Deg. C. 77 Deg. F.
