Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spill mechanically using a scoop or vacuum,
avoiding dust creation. Place material into containers for
disposal at a licensed landfill site. Do not discharge
material to a waste-water system.
Handling and storage
Handling: Handle dry substance under local exhaust or mechanical
ventilation to reduce airborne dust. Otherwise, wear a
reusable dust mask with dust cartridges (NIOSH type
TC-21C-XXX) or a disposable dust mask. If prolonged or
repeated skin contact is likely, wear impervious rubber or
synthetic gloves. Wear eye protection if splashing or mists
occur when handling the aqueous dispersion.
Storage: Store in closed drums. The substance should be kept from
freezing and from temperatures in excess of 60 deg C.
