First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. If not breathing, administer

artificial respiration. If breathing with difficulty,

administer oxygen and seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation

persists, seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products contain carbon and nitrogen oxides and

soot. Suitable extinguishing agents are water spray and

carbon dioxide.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up by mechanical means (eg vacuum cleaner) and put in

containers for disposal by incineration. Clean contaminated

area with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask, when local

exhaust ventilation is not available, for operations which

may generate dust.

Storage: Store at room temperature in the dark. Keep away from

direct sunlight.
