Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with running water. If irritation persists seek

medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected parts with soap and water. Remove any

contaminated clothing.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Products of combustion may include carbon oxides and

hydrogen fluoride gas. All extinguishing media are

suitable. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus when

fighting fires.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb spill and collect for disposal or recycling. Avoid

contamination of water ways. Disposal of waste by

incineration is recommended.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear gloves and eye protection.

Storage: Store in closed containers in double-walled tanks or

collecting tubes.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended waste. The substance may be destroyed by

incineration. Waste gas scrubbing to remove hydrogen

fluoride should be fitted.
