Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The partition coefficient (P) is defined as the ratio of the equilibrium concentrations of a dissolved substance in a two-phase system consisting of two largely immiscible solvents. Being the quotient of two concentrations, it is dimensionless and is usually given in the form of its logarithm to base ten (Log10P). Since the test item “Zanthoxylum Extract” is an UCVB substance in sense of REACH classification, more peaks are present in the GC chromatogram. One peak is taken as representative of the mix. Therefore an accurate value cannot be given. An inferior range is presented.

Results of Partition coefficient:

No peak was observed in water solvent. Therefore the lowest level of recovery (LOQ) was taken as minimum amount observable in water
