- the study does not need to be conducted because the physicochemical properties of the substance indicate that it can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption
- Justification for type of information:
- According to Column 2 of Annex VIII this study does not need to be conducted if the substance is expected to have a low potential for adsorption. Based on its very high water solubility it is expected that the soluble fraction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae has a low potential for adsorption. Furthermore, due to the nature of this substance, which is an UVCB with a very complex composition comprised of plenty of mineral substances and organic substances, this study is also technically not feasible.
