Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately

After inhalation: In the event of symptoms seek medical advice.

After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water

After contact with eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice

After ingestion: Allow the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious.

Symptoms: No symptoms known currently.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, foam

Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons: Full water jet, carbon dioxide, dry powder

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrous gases (NOx)

Special protective equipment for firefighting: In case of fire, wear respiratory protection

Further information:

Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations. Wear protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear suitable personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Take up with suitable equipment and if necessary collect in closed containers. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:

Handle with care and avoid dust formation. If dust formation can not be avoided, use respiratory protection like filter apparatus. Provide good ventilation of working area (local exhaust ventilation if necessary).

Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking.

Dust explosion class : ST1 Capable of dust explosion

Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed and dry

Exposure controls / personal protection

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance Art. 18.

Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

Exposure limit values are not available.

DNEL/DMEL values are not available.

PNEC values are not available.

General protective measures: Do not inhale dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin

Hygiene measures:

Wash hands before breaks and after work. Use barrier skin cream. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again.

Respiratory protection : Full mask with dust filter P3

Hand protection :

Nitrile rubber applied on knitted cotton for mechanical stress. Leather gloves. Because this glove is used only for mechanical protection, the

minimum breakthrough time and thickness are not relevant to safety. For long-term exposure: Butyl rubber gloves

Eye protection : safety glasses/face shield

Body protection : working clothes

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability: Under normal conditions the product is stable.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are known

Conditions to avoid: None known.

Incompatible materials: not known

Hazardous decomposition products: Nitrous gases

Disposal considerations

Product: Product should be be taken to a suitable and authorized waste disposal site in accordance with relevant regulations and if necessary after consultation with the waste disposal operator and/or the competent Authorities

Uncleaned packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
