Reactivity :  Stable under normal conditions.

Precautionary measures fire :  Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.

Protection during firefighting :  Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Do not breathe fumes from fires or vapours from decomposition.

Accidental release measures

General measures :  Ventilate area. Contain the spilled material by bunding.

Emergency procedures :  Evacuate area.

Protective equipment :  Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye or face protection.

Handling and storage

Additional hazards when processed :  Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize vapour concentrations.
