The acute toxicity of the substance to Leuciscus idus was tested in a guideline study conducted according to German standard DIN 38412 part L15. At test termination after 96 hours a LC50 of ca. 2200 mg/l was determined refering to 40 % active ingredient in water. For a concentration of 100 % active ingredient a LC50 of ca. 880 mg/l was recalculated (BASF AG, 1990).
