Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of necessary first-aid measures:
General advice: Under the shower: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing (including shoes).
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Hospitalize immediately.
Skin contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of water. Keep under medical surveillance. In case of extensive burns: Hospitalise.
Eye contact: Wash open eyes immediately, abundantly and thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth and lips with plenty of water if the subject is conscious, then hospitalize.
Protection of first-aiders: If potential for exposure exists refer to Section 8 for specific personal protective equipment.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder extinguishers., Use suitable means to extinguish neighbouring fires.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet.

Advice for firefighters:
Specific methods:
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Special protective actions for fire-fighters:
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete suit protecting against chemicals.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate area of all unnecessary personnel.
Environmental precautions: Do not release into the environment. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Methods for cleaning up: Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Recovery: Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite). Sweep up to prevent slipping hazard.
Elimination: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Technical measures/Precautions: Provide water supplies and ocular fountains near the point of use. Provide a catch-tank in a bunded area. Provide waterproof electrical equipment.
Safe handling advice: Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
Hygiene measures: Wash hands after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Provide impermeable floor.

Disposal considerations
Disposal of product: The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil. Incinerate in suitable incineration plant, observing local authority regulations. According to the European Waste Catalogue, Waste Codes are not product specific, but application specific. Waste codes should be assigned by the user based on the application for which the product was used.
Disposal of packaging: Must be dumped or incinerated in accordance with local regulations.
