Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The relative density (D20-4) of Octadecanoic acid, reaction products with diethylenetriamine, di-Me sulfate-quaternized was determined to be 1.0131 g/mL with 0.20% RSD at 20ºC.
Executive summary:

The relative density of Octadecanoic acid, reaction products with diethylenetriamine, di-Me sulfate-quaternized was determined according to OECD Guideline 109 (2012) using the pycnomether method.

The empty pycnometer, pycnometer with water, pycnometer with wetting solution, pycnometer with 2/3 of test item and pycnometer with 2/3 of test item with wetting solution were weighed and the weights were recorded to find out the water equivalent and the volume of the pycnometer. The density of the wetting solution, volume of wetting solution and density of the test item were calculated from the water equivalent and the volume of the pycnometer. The test was performed at 20ºC under thermostatic conditions and the obtained density values are 1.0114 g/mL and 1.0147 g/mL for replicates R1 and R2 respectively. The calculated mean density value of the replicates was found to be 1.0131 g/mL with 0.20% of RSD. The relative density () was given by the value of the density (ρ).

The relative density (D20-4) was 1.0131 with 0.20% RSD at 20ºC.
