First-aid measures

After inhalation: Remove affected person to fresh air. In case of breathing difficulty, seek medical advice

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If inflammation, swelling, redness, blistering or irritation occurs seek medical assistance.

Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes with eye wash solution or plenty of vegetable oil. If there is any redness, pain or visual impairment, consult an ophthalmologist.

For contact lens wearers: Flush eyes immediately. The lenses are sure to fall while rinsing. If it does not, remove them after rinsing. Do not reuse.

For soft lenses: Laying the lens regardless of the renewal.

For hard lenses, they can be reused after a professional cleaning by your ophthalmologist

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician. If vomiting occurs, keep head down to prevent the passage of vomit into the lungs. Take a copy of the label and/or SDS with the victim to the health professional.

Self-protection of the first aider: It is recommended that those who provide first aid have personal protective equipment. No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

Eye contact: May cause eye irritation if not immediately rinsed out.

Skin Contact: Skin irritation. May cause redness and pain. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Dermatitis. Rash. Repeated contact may cause allergic dermatitis.

Inhalation: No data available.

Ingestion: Not an expected route of exposure.

Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Do not attack the fire with water. Essential oils have the ability to float on water. The fire spread is then accelerated. To extinguish an incipient fire based essential oil, use dry powder-specific ABC (or equivalent). If the fire is not important, it can be smothered by covering with earth, sand or blanket.

Further information: Containers close to fire should be cooled with a water spray. Do not allow run-off from firefighting to enter drains or water courses. Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations. Static charges generated by emptying package in or near flammable vapor may cause flash fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

For non-emergency personnel: Use personal protective equipment. For personal protection see SECTION 8.

For emergency responder: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Remove all sources of ignition. Vapours can accumulate in low areas. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Pay attention to flashback. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Use personal protective equipment. For personal protection see section 8.

Environmental precautions: Keep away from drains, soil, surface and groundwater. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Slippery when spilt. Work up wind or increase ventilation.

For containment: Contain spillage, collect by wet-brushing and place in container for disposal according to local regulations (see section 13). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

For cleaning up: Cover with an inert, non-combustible, inorganic, absorbent material. Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers.

Precautions for safe handling

Protective measures: Apply according to good manufacturing and industrial hygiene practices with proper ventilation. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. For personal protection see section 8.

Measures to prevent fire: Аvoid ignition of vapors by static electricity discharge. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. No smoking.

Advice on general occupational hygiene: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wear personal protective equipment. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Wash hands thoroughly after handling

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Technical measures and storage conditions: Store at room temperature. Light sensitive. Do not store outside. Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage area.

Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep container tightly closed in a dry place. Keep in properly labelled containers. Store out of direct sunlight.

Further information for storage conditions: Protect containers against damage. Store away from heat sources, sparks and open flames. Do not smoke near the product. Store in stainless steel containers or preferably amber glass. Avoid PVC. Store under nitrogen if possible.

Exposure control

Appropriate engineering control: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use with adequate ventilation to ensure exposure levels are maintained below the limits provided above.

If inhalation risk exists: Use with local exhausts ventilation or while wearing organic vapor/particulate respirator. Keep containers closed when not in use.

Personal protective equipment: When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Provide regular cleaning of equipment, work areа and clothing. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.

Eye and face protection: Safety glasses. Avoid contact with eyes. Provide eyewash stations in facilities where the product is handled constantly.

Skin protection: Use protective gloves. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product.

Material of gloves: The selection of suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material cannot be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application.

Penetration time of glove material: The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed. For the permanent contact gloves made of the following materials are suitable: Nitrile rubber or polyvinyl alcohol, NBRE.g.

Respiratory protection: Avoid to breathe directly on the product. Ensure a good ventilation of the workroom

Body Protection: The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace

Environmental exposure control: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: This product is stable to shock, vibration and pressure under normal conditions of use. In the presence of light and heat, oxidation can occur.

Chemical stability: No significant changes in the composition in time respecting the storage conditions

Conditions to avoid: Do not heat to high temperature. Do not expose sealed containers in the sun. Keep away from sources of ignition.

How to avoid:

The hazards associated with flammability: Do not heat to the flames or expose to flame or other ignition source. Do not smoke near the product.

Evaporative conditions: Store away from heat, light and in closed containers. The containers have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations.

Sewage disposal-relevant information: Do not discharge into drains or watercourses. Do not contaminate the soil or water with waste, do not dispose of them in the environment.
