Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

exposure considerations
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely

Description of key information

No short-term or long-term studies need to be conducted due to exposure considerations.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of reach (regulation 1907/2006/EC) annex IX, testing for toxicity to terrestrial organisms shall be proposed by the registrant if the results of the chemical safety assessment indicate the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or relevant degradation products on terrestrial organisms. As the substance meets the criteria for soil hazard category 1, PNECs for sediments and soil were derived by means of the equilibrium partitioning method (EPM) as a first tier approach. As the chemical safety assessment does not reveal a need for further investigation (the environmental risk assessment for all intended uses shows that the risk is controlled) no further testing is required.
