First-aid measures

General information: Do not breathe /fume/mist/vapours/ spray.
If exposed or concerned: Call a POISON CENTER and show the SDS or the label.
After inhalation:
Supply fresh air. If symptoms are experienced, get medical attention. In case of unconsciousness pla
ce patient stably in side position for transportation.
After skin contact:
IRRITANT. SENSITISER. Rinse with plenty of water and soap. Remove c
ontaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Clean shoes thoroughly before reuse. Get medical attention if irritation or skin rash occurs.
After eye contact:
IRRITANT Immediately rinse with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Hold eyelids
apart and flush eyes with plenty of cool low-pressure water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
After ingestion:
ASPIRATION TOXICANT. Do not induce vomiting. If person is conscious, rinse out mouth with water. Obtain medical advice immediately

- Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
If skin or eye contact: redness, oedema, pain.
If swallowed, monitor for delayed pulmonary oedema.
If repeated exposure, eczema-like reactions may develop.
TARGET ORGAN TOXICANT: effect on SNC : anxiety, excitement, delirium, and epileptiform convulsions; apnoea and asystole.
- Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Hand washing point and eye shower recommended at the workplace. (reprendre la phrase qui est dans exposure controls)

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, foam, powder.
Unsuitable extinguishing agents: water with jet.
Avoid inhalation of smoke and fumes. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory
equipment. Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing
apparatus.

Special hazards arising from the substance:
No release of particular hazardous substance expected (carbon oxides).
DANGEROUS FOR THE AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT. Contain contaminated fire fighting water.

Advice for firefighters
Avoid inhalation...

Accidental release measures

SKIN AND EYE IRRITANT. SKIN SENSITISER. TARGET ORGAN TOXICANT.
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Do NOT breathe fume/mist/vapours/spray.
Wash hands/shower after intervention.
(Keep unprotected...). Keep unprotected persons away.
Environmental precautions:
DANGEROUS FOR THE AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT.
Do not allow product to reach soil, waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has caused environmental pollution.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
In case of small spills, absorb spilled liquid with inert absorbent. Collect in an appropriate container
properly labelled for disposal. Close it before disposal according to regulation.
In case of large spills, stop spill if it can be done without danger, dike and pump as much liquid as
possible with an explosion-proof pump or a hand pump. Absorb the remaining liquid with inert abs
orbent. Collect in an appropriate container properly labelled for disposal. Close it before disposal
according to regulation.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling :
Prevent formation of aerosols.
SKIN AND EYE IRRITANT. SKIN SENSITISER. ASPIRATION HAZARD. TARGET ORGAN TOXICANT. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection Do NOT breathe fume/mist/vapours/spray.Provide adequate ventilation where the product is handled.
No smoking. Avoid any sources of ignition. Avoid exposing to high temperature during processing.
Keep respiratory protective device available.
Do no eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Wash hands/shower thoroughly after handling.
Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage:
Store locked up. Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: No special requirements.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters
Occupational Exposure Limits
No Occupational Exposure Limit value established for the substance
Other exposure limits: Not requied for this tonnage band.
Engineering measures:
Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize exposure to vapours. Emergency eye
wash fountains and safety showers should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential e
xposure.
General protective and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals. Take off conta
minated clothing and wash before reuse. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Individual washing routin
es should be followed after any potential contact.
TARGET ORGAN TOXICANT Personal protective equipment - respiratory protection:
Use suitable respiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation such as a chemical cartridge respirator (EN 143; A2P3 filter generally suits for most chemicals).
SKIN IRRITANT AND SENSITISER. Personal protective equipment - Hand protection:
Use protective gloves resistant to chemicals (standard EN 374-1) nitrile or fluorinated (Teflon, Viton) recommended. Avoid latex.
. Gloves should be replaced regularly and if there is any indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough.
EYE IRRITANT Personal protective equipment - Eye protection:
Use safety glasses (standard EN 166) chemical goggles (conforming EC EN 166, protection class 3 = against liquids and droplets). Optional face shield..
SKIN IRRITANT AND SENSITISER Personal protective equipment - Body protection:
Wear protective work clothing with long sleeves. Impervious boots.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
No data from specific reactivity tests are available for this substance. No reaction known with water.
Chemical stability:
Stable if handled and stored according to specifications.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No hazardous reactions known.
Conditions to avoid:
Prolonged or excessive heat and/or exposure to air may cause non-hazardous decomposition and/or
oxidation of the substance. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Incompatible materials:
Avoid contact with strong acids and oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products:
No dangerous decomposition products known.

Disposal considerations

Wastes should be eliminated according to national or regional regulatory requirements currently in
force. Minimize release to the environment.
Unusable products, out of date, residues and contaminated packaging are considered as hazardous waste according to Directive 2008/98/EC (as modified by Regulation (EU) No 1357/2014).
Therefore, they must be disposed of according to local and national rules into force. Contact a licensed company. Do not pour into drains or in the environment. Do not re-use empty containers.
