Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available
Additional information:

According to the colums 1 and 2 of the REACH Annex VII, when available information indicates that the substance is classified as corrosive to the skin (in the present case, as the pH is lower than 2, and an analog is found corrosive after an in vitro corrosion test), no further test is needed to assess the skin sensitisation potential. Therefore there is no datagap for the present endpoint skin sensitisation.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The skin sensitisation endpoint was waived based on the corrosive properties of the substance.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available
Additional information:

not applicable

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Information not needed for an Annex IX dossier

Justification for classification or non-classification

Harmonized classification:

No harmonized classification is available according to the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 including ATP3.

Self-classification:

Phosphoric acid, mono- and bis(branched and linear pentyl) esters is not classified for skin sensitisation and for respiratory sensitisation according to the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and the Directive 67/548/EEC due to a lack of data.
